Incorporating information technologies is currently one of the greatest challenges in public healthcare management. In Santa Catarina, through the implementation of the Strategic Health Intelligence Center, the utilization and enhancement of health data are being structured. The development of this project was the objective of the visit by technicians from the National Council of Health Secretaries (CONASS) to the State Health Department on Thursday and Friday. Despite being underfunded by the public sector in general and still in its early stages in the private sector, primary healthcare possesses the largest health database. It contains sensitive data from over 7,800,000 individuals, organized within a DataWare House. The integration and interoperability of this database with other systems, institutions, and service providers represent a project as complex as it is significant for all three levels of government. We need the systems to align with the needs of the individuals being served

🌞📝 My summer reflection for Netfarma on navigating the path to #SharedDecisionMaking in #Healthcare.As the healthcare industry moves towards #SharedDecisionMaking, it's important to consider the assumptions necessary for this transition to take place. Here, I reflect on the three critical prerequisites for this transition:1️⃣ The healthcare system should facilitate collaborative decision-making, making it accessible and intuitive.2️ Patients must be well-informed and equipped with the knowledge needed to actively participate in their healthcare decisions.
