I’m officially in fall mode over here. I’ve already burned through my first fall candle featured in my Target Fall Home Decor post from last week. Honestly, I forgot how much I love this time of the year, so today I’m sharing stunning fall home decor trends and ideas for 2021. It’s amazing how adding a little fall decor here and there can make all the difference in the world. A great time to start decorating for fall is in September and October. This is when the weather really begins to change for most people (not me in Miami), but you know what I mean. Ha Ha! You will want to make sure your decorations go with the season, so it’s best to avoid decorating for fall in August. Then, I switch out all of my fall home decor the day after Thanksgiving to get ready for Christmas.

You can decorate your home for fall by adding decor pieces that have fall colors and shapes, such as pumpkins. Hang a fall wreath on your door. Replace you summer kitchen towels with autumn kitchen towels. Light a pumpkin scented candle and add a fall throw pillow to your sofa.

The best way to decorate your home for fall in an inexpensive way is to use real pumpkins and things from nature like fall leaves. You can also make your own wreath or add a fall ribbon to a wreath that you use all year long. Add some cozy fall colored throws you may have to the sofas or in a basket.
How do I make my home cozy for fall?
Here are five easy ways to make your home cozy for fall:
- Light fall scented candles around you home.
- Hang a fall wreath on your front door.
- Add real pumpkins and gourds to wicker baskets and place on your dining table, coffee table, and foyer table.
- Hang a cozy fall throw blanket over the arm of your sofa.
- Set up a coffee/tea station with fall coffee mugs to enjoy your morning routine. Make sure to include your favorite fall coffee blends and creamer.

It’s been way too long since I ordered a new set of oven mitts, so I plan on replacing mine with this autumn stripe mitt and pot holder set. I think having a nice set of fall oven mitts is a great way to freshen up your home for the fall season and this is a gorgeous set to have.

I’ve been on the lookout for a really pretty fall serving piece and this sculptural pumpkin serving bowl is the perfect size. It will look extra special on my autumn table top and I’ll use it to serve salads, pasta, and fruit. It’s made of scratch-resistant stoneware and is dishwasher safe.
Pumpkin Coffee Mug
There’s nothing better than drinking coffee in the fall, especially if the mug is a cute one. This pumpkin shaped coffee mug is the cutest thing ever! I have a few fall mugs in my collection and I thought these would be great to use every day or when family and friends come over. Serve your favorite latte or hot chocolate in these.

As I mentioned earlier, you can never have enough pumpkin spice candles in your home. I usually only burn one at a time, because the scent tends to be adequate enough for my whole home.
